Columbia. Take a break from your elaborate and increasingly obscure procrastination techniques very disciplined studying, and let a weight lift from your shoulders. Consider for a moment the pass/fail option. Either: take some insurance. Your final need not define your semester; a C+ and a B can stand equal in the eyes of parents and prospective employers. Or: accept the extra pressure as extra motivation. Drop the training wheels and earn that A like the man/woman/preferred gender that you are. Either way, the choice is yours to make. Take a moment to celebrate that, and remember that the work, the classes, the school are all choices realized.
But don’t take too long because today is the last day to declare a class pass/fail in the College, SEAS, and GS.
For those of you in SEAS, today also marks the penultimate day to drop.
General rules for pass/fail can be found here for the College, here for SEAS, and here for GS students. Be sure to check your department and core requirements as well.
