It’s Friday, the sixth day of NSOP, and you’re so tired you feel jet lagged…what did you do last night? When did you stumble back to bed? Why did you wake up at 9 am for that free yoga class? Even if you did none of these things, you’re probably confused, disoriented, nursing a headache, and have missed at least one “mandatory” event by now. It’s ok. You’re jet lagged. Bwog’s here to help. Also, wtf, it’s September?
Friday’s Highlights:
- Financial Aid 101, 10:30-11:30 a.m, 309 Havemayer. You still have t-56 minutes to make it! You can do it, and you should, because you can ask questions, and they have to answer.
- Blood Drive, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. If the Class of 2020 has shown us anything so far, it’s that you LOVE to help people! We saw that eons-long line stretching into the rain for the EcoReps sale yesterday. And we want to see an even longer one today for the blood drive at Low Library Rotunda, where you can earn points for gifts by participating (not like you guys need incentive).
- Shabbat Dinner, 8:15-10 p.m, Kraft Center, 606 W 115th St. This is going to be dank, especially because it’s free. But don’t forget to RSVP. Very important to reserve your space for all the yummy food and cool (hotties) you may meet. Go to www.bitly.com/jello2016 to RSVP.
One Thing To Do Before Graduating: Try to sneak up onto one of Columbia’s many roofs. Mudd. Low. Pupin. We won’t say how exactly, but these things are possible. Get chummy with your OLs and ask them some prying questions. In Pupin’s case, knowing some pals in the Astronomy Department might help you.
From The Archives: Many of your clothes have probably already acquired several different types of stains. You may be wondering about laundry. Try Parachute! Bwog details how you can get your first load done for $1. Then, the next time you have laundry, hopefully you’ll have figured out how to do it yourself.
