Gig economy ftw! Many profs teach at multiple campuses across NYC to make ends meet. If your grades are late, it’s not because professors have “nothing better to do”: it’s probably because they are juggling multiple far-flung jobs, not to mention family responsibilities. If you don’t like it, use your voice to lobby for better-paid instructors with more job security at one of the best-endowed, most elite universities in the country. Well-paid, secure profs who don’t have to travel all over creation to feed their kids have more time to invest in you, their students.

It’s understandable that you’d be frustrated at the delay in receiving grades, but it’s happening for structural, economic reasons that it would behoove you to investigate rather than simply “naming and shaming” people who have little control over the situation.
