@Inquiring Mind Hey Bwog, any idea why there are suddenly lots of metal poles along the walkways on North Campus? They seemed to appear rather suddenly and have no identifiable use.
@You can't tell in the photo but if you look in person you will see that they sealed the corner where the two rubber mats meet with some kind of hot, tarry sealant which needed time to dry.

@iBeam Those are for the fences that get put up for graduation. Wait a week or two and you’ll see the fences, bleachers etc.
@Lol I was wondering the same thing; I walked into one today.
