STOP!

Am I just out of the loop? Has the Cheryl & Philip Milstein Center for Teaching and Learning been renamed the Milstein Center for Stomping and Learning? Or the Milstein Center for Teaching and Stomping?

I don’t think so.

Then why are you stomping so fervently in this Bold, Beautiful Building? Oh, wait. I know. Maybe the Dodge track has been relocated to the second floor of Milstein. That would explain why you all are running and causing an absolute ruckus. No? Oh, okay.

Listen, I am trying to LEARN here. Please do talk away on the second floor, that’s what it’s there for. Collaborate and exchange ideas to your hearts’ content. That’s what I assume Cheryl and Philip would want (disclaimer: I am not Cheryl nor Philip, so this is only an assumption).

Oh, but maybe the floors of the Milstein Center did something to you. In that case, stomp on. But I must ask: please take off your shoes at the very least. Give those floors hell, but please spare my ears.

I am not going to deduce the absolutely stampede-like aura to childish onomatopoeias like BOOM or whatever. You get the point. It’s loud and I don’t appreciate it.

Walk tender-footedly in our dear Milstein. That’s all I ask.
