Party in Schermerhorn?

Name, School, Major, Hometown: Danielle, CC, Architecture, Dallas, TX

Claim to fame: Having cool eye makeup and being the Samsung girl.

Where are you going? Home for the summer then back to the city!

What are three things you learned at Columbia and would like to share with the Class of 2028?

  1. Always check the weather forecast before you leave.
  2. People might be watching, but they don’t care. Do what makes you happy!
  3. Architecture professors want you to call them by their first name.

“Back in my day…” If you didn’t live in the dorm with your friends, a Schermerhorn classroom was THE party spot.

What was your favorite class at Columbia? Sculpture I with Jon Kessler.

Would you rather give up oral sex or cheese? I never really liked cheese anyways…

Whom would you like to thank? I would like to thank Morell for being my peace, Amy for being the best roommate and friend ever, my Line Sisters and Ijoya for giving me a family away from home, every professor who never called out my sleeping in class, and my family and friends back home for always being my rock.

One thing to do before graduating? Late night picnic on the lawns.

Any regrets? There’s so many seemingly random things going on around campus and in the city that end up being such an enriching and valuable experience. So I guess I regret not trying harder to find them.
