Bwog had a great weekend, but at what cost?
Bwog (tried) to get back on the academic grind.
- Did a lot of Heidegger reading in Hungarian!
- Worked on an Art Hum presentation for this Wednesday that’s supposed to be 35 minutes long (!)
- Did not do nearly as much reading as I should have
- Attempted a friend group study session, failed miserably and chatted for three hours
- Read some stuff in Latin
- Thought about my increasing pile of homework
- Did some reading, but not as much as I anticipated
- Had two assignments due at 11:59 pm on Sunday
Bwog engaged with the local dining scene.
- Tried out Qahwah House (highly recommend the mofawar coffee)
- Got the rainbow cakes from Hungarian pastry
- Tried Mama’s (Too?) pizza (sooo yummy)
- Went to Prêt three times in one day…
Bwog went out!
- Went to see The Great Gatsby on Broadway
- Went thrifting/book shopping
- Went to The Heights and played Nantucket Bridge with my friends (cards @ The Heights is superior)
- Spontaneously went to a Jon Batiste concert after someone offered me and a friend free tickets
- Went out and had a blast
Bwog stayed in!
- Stayed in and had less of a blast but still it was a decently good time
- Discovered a new passion for washing dishes
- Watered my snake plant
- Did laundry at last
Finally, Bwog soaked up the sun (before it’s too late)
- Went kayaking with friends at Brooklyn Bridge Park
- Soaked in the sun walking back from Trader Joe’s
- Walked a few miles and felt peace
