@Q.R. R2R is pretty good this year. New Pornographers are the July 4th spot; that might not even be that tough to get into.
The last show at the pool was okay, but muggy and crowded. I really don’t love it as a venue, but it is a shame to lose the damn thing.
@ARR R2R actually started at the beginning of the month with that Animal Collective show at South Street Seaport.
Also if you’re any kind of a music fan and don’t make it to a pool party this summer you’re a frickin’ moron, although you can be totally indifferent to indie rock and still appreciate the slip n’ slide, cheap Red Bull and dodgeball pit. Amazing place to see a show. Go there before the pigs ruin it…
