There’ll be laughin’ and singin’ and music swingin’ and dancin’ in the streets
How we gonna pay, how we gonna pay, [next] year’s rent?
Here in my car, I feel safest of all.
But for now I find it’s only in my dreams that I can change the world.
I want to wake up in a city that doesn’t sleep and find I’m king of the hill, top of the heap.
Now what’s the matter buddy, ain’t you heard of my school? It’s number one in the state…

@lol glad to see having to pay rent really riles up senators. because you know, that’s the pressing issue of the day.
also, really shitty job reporting on the senate, spec. no wonder no one knows or cares about the one university-wide decision making body that students actually have a say in.
what’s this about GS having a PhD program through nursing? The hell?
also, way to not cover the “student housing initiatives” resolution at all.
thanks for NOTHING spec!
@dude So sorry, did Spec fail to cover your idiotic pet issue?
Please clean the sand out of your vagina.
@dood I’m a student. I’d like it if spec covered student related issues. Thanks for playing.
@CYCLOTRON! Elizabeth Wade, you’ve just learned something that a few of us have known for a long time. Columbia could give two shits about institutional history and achivements, except when rolled into kitschy self-celbrations aimed at raising money. One of the many reasons that it’ll never have the status in the popular mind that Harvard has.
