Worth a try?
Yesterday, Student Financial Services sent out an email clarifying the qualifications for tuition exemption. The clarification doesn’t introduce any new information that wasn’t in the original email, so that leads Bwog to wonder what sort of bogus exemption claims SFS must have received encouraging them to send out another email to the entire student body. A better question: who among us was so brazenly naive as to think that Columbia would be generous in any way that wasn’t strictly required? Silly kids.
Clarification posted below, in case you were still befuddled.
Dear Student,
We would like to clarify yesterday’s email to all Morningside students titled “Tuition Exemption Information.” The email, which is included below, applies only to employees of Columbia University and their eligible dependents who are interested in taking classes and who may also be eligible for the Tuition Exemption Benefit. To check eligibility, please visit: http://hr.columbia.edu/benefits/tuition.
All other students may disregard the prior email.

@Anon Love how they call it a “clarification,” instead of a “correction.”
What they really mean is, “Sorry we sent this e-mail to you, some secretary hit ‘send all’ by accident.”
“Clarifications” are for clearing up ambiguities, not owning up to mistakes, which Student Financial Services will never do.
@Anonymous If you are a work study student on columbia payroll are you an employee and qualified for this ? :)
