@anon stop complaining about your meaningless internships and try to find something useful. i’ve interned since freshman summer and always did interesting stuff. ok, my first one was unpaid but then I actually made some real money. get some skills, ppl.

@CC '13 I think I can top those “most menial tasks.” At my internship last summer, I sat in a room and shredded papers eight hours a day for two weeks straight. For the two weeks after that, I stood at a copier and scanned different papers. For eight hours a day. Two weeks straight. After that, I’m pretty sure they ran out of papers for me to do things with, so they just let me sit at a computer and dick around on the internet all day. The strangest part is, thinking back, I think I preferred the shredding and scanning to the mind-numbing dullness of accomplishing literally nothing.
