The staff of the Blue and White kindly requests the pleasure of your company at tonight’s meeting at 9:30 PM in the basement of St. Paul’s chapel. This very well could be the last Blue and White meeting of the decade, depending on how things are looking next week. So! Please come if you are interested in contributing, in any capacity, to the first Blue and White of 2010, as we’ll be plotting feature ideas and things. Additionally, there will be information about applying for editorships and other things that one must apply for.

@No, I’m pretty sure its the first. Analogy: 1980 was the first year of the decade now known as the ’80s, not 1981.

You’re right on the counting system, but just plain wrong on accepting popular conventions and the idiosyncrasies of language.
