@... you know, with tuition standing at $200,000.00, i think the least you could ask for if you got busted selling drugs on campus would be for the trial to be held in the law and order courthouse at 60 centre st.

@This isn't a joke It doesn’t look good to have a bunch of kids showing up at the trial making a joke out of it. Please, if you’re not directly connected, don’t go. That might go for you too, Bwog. Having a little schadenfreude fun is one thing. Please don’t do anything that could influence the judge’s mood, even if you don’t think it’ll matter. Voyeurism only goes so far.

@Anonymous An open court is an open court. To suggest that the defendants should be spared the same scrutiny that those involved in other high profile cases are subject to is silly. Of course no one should go and heckle or with signs and consciously attempt to make things worse than they already are. That’s a given.
But there’s no reason to advocate for special treatment.

but really, why are they appearing in civil court? the state doesn’t “sue” you if you got caught selling drugs. this is a criminal trial.
@new yorker The closest A station to Columbia is over 20 minutes away, on 8th Avenue. It will dump you almost 15 minutes away from the Court.
The 1 station is right next to Columbia and the Canal St. Q station is a block away from the Court. It’s faster to take the 1, 2, and Q than the A.
