- Apparently, many of the food trucks around campus are here without permits. In order
to rob you of drunk munchies optionscombat this problem, the NY Parks and Recreation Department is creating a committee to review food truck applications and permit only certain trucks to occupy a limited number of spaces around campus. They want a student representative it sit in on the committee. The student rep will help with decision-making and spread awareness about which trucks are here with NY’s graces and which are selling you that chicken and rice illegally. - The Council met with members of the Inter-Greek Council and the Greek Judicial Board regarding the decision announced last week that AEPi, Pike, and PsiU are to lose their brownstones. A representative from IFC will join CCSC in order to give Greek Life greater representation, a decision which everyone was excited about.
- The newly formed Co-Sponsorship Committee met “very successfully” last week, and decided to give out some money. As required by the constitution, the Committee presented a summary of different group’s requests and its decision, and the Council voted and approved the Committee’s decision.
- The council gave a shout out to the organizers of Casino Night and the recent slew of class study breaks. They also issued a reminder to sophomores: don’t forget to head on over to the CCSC 2013 study break this Tuesday night. There’ll be grilled cheese and Capri Sun to help relieve your midterm stress (and send you on a walk down Nostalgia Lane).
- A[nother] survey will be sent out about dining! This one asks students whether or not they would like to see Ferris or John Jay open on weekends (the survey says Friday, but the whole weekend is under consideration). The Council REALLY needs your opinion, so please vote and let your voice be heard! Your votes will help them move forward with the dining reforms they’ve been looking to make all year.

@yo Dining If you don’t switch to having John Jay open on weekends instead of Ferris, I will seriously consider transferring to NYU. They have a Chik-fil-a.
@NOT to chik-fil-a do some research on Chik-fil-a before you give them your money — they have a pretty dicey reputation and do some seriously nasty stuff.

@Anonymous Why can’t the trucks be registered and graded just like restaurants? Then let them go wherever they want? Personally, I wish the streets were lined with delicious competitively priced food!
