Bwoglines: Disaster Edition

What awaits us in the next few days.

As I’m sure you know by now, there’s a moderately large storm creeping into the eastern United States, causing quite some damage. It’s destroying New York and other states in the East Coast, and while at Columbia it doesn’t seem like much so far, the storm has begun claiming lives in the United States. (Reuters, CNN)

A Brown student apparently doesn’t believe in the hurricane. That takes “question everything” to whole new levels. (

In the future, natural disasters may be making their way to Europe, since according to scientists Lake Geneva might be at risk of having a tsunami that could hit one million people. (

On a lighter note, Avengers director Joss Whedon says Mitt Romney will cause the zombie apocalypse. (NY Daily News)
