After a day of rain, sunny days are ahead for the last few days of NSOP. Enjoy the last two days before the rest of campus returns for the Fall! If you got any fun NSOP stories or just overheard the weirdest conversation, send us a line at tips@bwog.com or fill out our lovely form

Today’s Highlights:

  • Columbia HealthExpo: From 11 am to 1 pm head to the Roone Arledge Auditorium in Lerner to learn all about the different health services and initiatives Columbia has to offer. Get ahead of the Flu Season and get a Flu shot, they will be available at the Expo, just bring your CUID.
  • Beyond Barnard Student Employment 101: Barnard students can meet with Beyond Barnard staff from 2 pm to 3 pm in the James Room on the 4th floor of Barnard Hall to assist students in finding and applying for part-time, on-campus, and off-campus employment. Additionally, information on unpaid internships, civic engagement opportunities, and the externship program will be provided.
  • Take Me Out to the Ballgame: Mets vs Cubs: Get ready for the big event of the night as the New York Mets take on the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs have won the first two games against the Mets, but they have a history of breaking my heart, so you may watch the Mets win. Make sure you pick up your free ticket before 5 pm today to join in on the fun! Pack your MetroCard, money for snacks, and a resolve to sit/stand on the subway for an hour to get to Citifield.  First pitch is at 7:10 pm, so plan your departure time accordingly!

One Thing To Do Before Graduating: Rent a projector, projector screen, and projector table (if needed) from IMATS to have a movie night! Stop by Trader Joe’s to get some snacks, invite some friends over to your dorm (or make it a solo movie night), and enjoy!

From The Archives: Want to live a little and play a ‘Choose your own Adventure’ game? Even if you don’t, let’s see how your Saturday night escapade to JJ’s goes.
