A summit, a strike, and strippers—oh my!
Happening in the World: In the aftermath of a tense summit between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, both made restrained public remarks about the meeting. Happening in the US: After canceling all of its long-distance routes this weekend ahead of a predicted mass rail worker strike, Amtrak seems to be back in business… for now. Today, with a goal to set a good example for her daughter, Cardi is accepting the charges and the allotted punishment—15 days of community service. (NYT)
