You have made my life so much brighter this week.

In Barnard’s halls, a mouse so small,

Dodging raindrops, she creepy-crawls.

Then finds a library, so cozy and warm!

A perfect hideout from the thunderstorm!

Shelves of books, a mouse’s delight,

Curls up snug, out of anyone’s sight.

Pages turn as raindrops play,

In Milstein, she will stay.

A student spies with curious gaze,

As the mouse hides deep within the maze.

Eyes meet briefly, there, a secret exchange,

In Milstein: what a scene so strange!

Textbook pages turn, rain taps the glass,

Mouse in a corner, hoping it will pass.

Hide and seek, stormy weather,

In her small haven, mouse and books together.
