What awaits us in the next few days.
As I’m sure you know by now, there’s a moderately large storm creeping into the eastern United States, causing quite some damage. It’s destroying New York and other states in the East Coast, and while at Columbia it doesn’t seem like much so far, the storm has begun claiming lives in the United States. (Reuters, CNN)
A Brown student apparently doesn’t believe in the hurricane. That takes “question everything” to whole new levels. (turnto10.com)
In the future, natural disasters may be making their way to Europe, since according to scientists Lake Geneva might be at risk of having a tsunami that could hit one million people. (Telegraph.co.uk)
On a lighter note, Avengers director Joss Whedon says Mitt Romney will cause the zombie apocalypse. (NY Daily News)

@SEAS '14 I agree with this persons logic on professors cancelling their own classes if they can’t get here, although I wish it wasn’t so..
@Anonymous We really should have school tomorrow. The only real issue would be people getting to campus. So let some professors cancel classes if they need to. Otherwise this is just ridiculous…

@What about students who live off campus? There’s a significant number of them, especially when you count grad students and GS students.
