As I’m sure you know by now, there’s a moderately large storm creeping into the eastern United States, causing quite some damage. It’s destroying New York and other states in the East Coast, and while at Columbia it doesn’t seem like much so far, the storm has begun claiming lives in the United States. (Reuters, CNN)

In the future, natural disasters may be making their way to Europe, since according to scientists Lake Geneva might be at risk of having a tsunami that could hit one million people. (Telegraph.co.uk)

@SEAS '14 I agree with this persons logic on professors cancelling their own classes if they can’t get here, although I wish it wasn’t so..
@Anonymous We really should have school tomorrow. The only real issue would be people getting to campus. So let some professors cancel classes if they need to. Otherwise this is just ridiculous…
