With only a month of school left, this is a sad time for many seniors, who look around them and can’t help but feel waves of nostalgia issuing from all corners of this revered, and remarkably architecturally homogeneous campus. Soon-to-be graduate David Roche sent us this gem, and we were so touched that we thought we would send out a call for any and all nostalgic photos of the Columbia campus, the best of which will be posted closer to the time of graduation. Please send photos to tips@bwog.net. Happy (sad) snapping!

@alumnus Graduated last year and still miss Columbia every day. Enjoy it while you can, even if it sucks the life out of you. There’s no place like it.
@hmmm... Cute, but definitely not blog-worthy. Sorry.
@spencer great photo
@Anonymous why is it blue?
@Anonymous depressing.
@obg Dave Roche is a God.
@wifey seconded
@Anonymous I’m no photographer or Photoshop wizard, but I get the feeling that a simple black and white would have worked in place of the underwater vibe.
@Dave Yeah, I am certainly not a photographer. I was just going for a hint of Columbia blue, and it is now evident that it comes off looking like a scene from Deep Blue Sea. Apparently, Sam Jackson might have to kill some mother-f***ing sharks on this campus.
@Anonymous I like the photo!
@I am light blue It the color fits in with today’s bwog theme. On all other occasions, use http://bit.ly/9Et0IC
@It works People who criticize art just don’t “get it” yet. You were clearly echoing the bluish-green tones of the corroded copper roofs of many of our oldest buildings.
@hmm yes I will be quite nostalgic about my college days when Columbia is underwater, thanks for the insight Bwog
@Dave The picture is social commentary on the swim test.
@typo? You typed Columbia’s soul?
Did you mean Columbia’s foul?
Just read the bloodbath on ASOCW.
@Anonymous how is it a bloodbath? I think it’s funny
@Anonymous you support my point.
@Anonymous that you don’t have a sense of humor? I’m confused.
@Anonymous humorless…
souless…
means nothing in the end.
