This past Friday, the Columbia Space Initiative and Professor Michael Massimino hosted a conversation with astronaut Don Pettit live from Expedition 72.
For more than two years, the student-led Reproductive Justice Collective (RJC) has been urging Barnard and Columbia to provide medication abortion on campus. Abortion is still not available at Barnard after the college first promised it in 2022. In the meantime, students from RJC have taken it upon themselves to help fellow students access abortions.
