This year is the fifth annual Morningside Lights Procession! Every year, community members gather and create lanterns inspired by poetry written by Pulitzer Prize winners. The workshop sessions are free, and have been taking place every day since Saturday the 17th, and will continue until this Friday, the 23rd. All materials will be provided, and you are allowed to attend as many as you would like. Workshop times vary, but generally take place in the afternoons and evenings. If you aren’t interested in building a lantern and instead want to watch the procession, it will take place on Saturday, the 24th in Morningside Park (on 116th Morningside Avenue).
