Applications for Daily Editor and Staff Writer positions are due tonight, January 28 at 11:59 pm EST!

Want to become part of the Bwamily, but haven’t gotten your applications in? Don’t worry! You have until tonight, January 28, at 11:59 pm EST to apply! Bwog is currently accepting applications for both Staff Writers and Daily Editors. If you’re interested in either position (or both!!), please complete the application below and send it to editors@bwog.com by tonight at 11:59 pm EST. Please submit your application as a PDF titled “[First Name] Spring 2022 App.”

To recap: Staff Writers are the comedic geniuses who brought you gems like “A Love Letter To My Dorm Room Pumpkin” and “CU Showers As Majors.” As a Staff Writer, you’ll have the opportunity to cover every aspect of Barnumbia life from arts events to breaking news, and ask important questions like “What If Roar-ee The Lion Wasn’t Our Mascot?”

Meanwhile, Daily Editors are the Mojo Jojo of this whole operation (geniuses, constantly planning, power-mad but in an endlessly entertaining girlboss way). On top of basically running the whole site for a day, they also write Bwoglines, copy edit and publish every post, and sometimes cover breaking news. Oh, and they can write posts just like a Staff Writer!

Can’t decide? Do we just make both of these positions sound too enticing? Lucky for you, it’s easy to apply for both positions at once! Just submit a single application, with the position you prefer clearly indicated. Bwog will be announcing our Spring 2022 Staff Writers and Daily Editors at our Open Meeting on Sunday, January 30 at 9 pm EST.
