On October 17, Staff Writer Lorelei Gorton attended Music on the Brain, a conversation at the National Jazz Museum of Harlem on the emotional impacts of music with a Columbia neuroscientist and a local musician.
This past Thursday, Barnard College hosted a faculty panel titled “Global Reproductive Rights and Resistance” as the first event in their series “The Year of Elections Around the World.”
Faculty and staff members issued a statement expressing concern that Columbia’s financial ties to fossil fuel companies “compromise the objectivity of [their] climate and energy policy research.”
