The benevolent gods of Columbia Facilities have chosen to smile down upon us today, stripping away the last of the tarps on Furnald Lawn and South Lawn. Usually we have to wait until the week before graduation for such a treat. Accuweather predicts a high of 58 today. To the lawns with you all!

The tarp is being peeled off the middle lawn! The grass looks green, lovely and artificial. Long time no see, pal.

You’ve left campus to find some green and Facilities decides to uncover the lawns.  It’s Columbian irony! Whoops.  Bwog is vacationing in the sun and didn’t realize that it was this weekend’s almost-hurricane that teased us with the lawns.  We’ll let you know when they’re actually open. Photo by HEH

It’s Friday! Need even more incentive to blow off working ahead on that big paper? One of the Butler lawns is open!   Quick, before the sun sets! Then again, temperatures are supposed to be in the 80s until Tuesday, so you’ve got plenty of time to enjoy the heat.   – Photo by JCD
