The Columbia Women’s Basketball team won 80-57 against Towson this Thursday in Levien Gymnasium. Here are some highlights from someone who has not attended a basketball game in many years.

On Wednesday, Staff Writers Peyton Goodman and Ashna Shah attended a seminar held by Columbia University’s Center for Science and Society on the evolving methods of identifying mushrooms. The event was part of the New York History of Science Lecture Series.

On Tuesday, November 14, the Palestinian Student Union (DAR) held a protest in support of Palestine and in solidarity with the recently suspended organizations Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and BC/CU Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).  Content warning: Mentions of violence. 

Over the weekend, Columbia University Players presented their fall mainstage production of The Boys in the Band, Mart Crowley’s provocative drama on gay life in New York City during the 1960s. Bwog attended the Saturday evening show.

On Monday, Columbia President Minouche Shafik, alongside the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, announced a multi-pronged plan to respond to the abuses of former CUIMC gynecologist Robert Hadden.
