Not one, not two, but three different opportunities for free food tonight! First, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is offering free pizza at their first general body meeting tonight at 9 in the Lerner Cinema. They’re calling all members, interested parties, and even those just want to “grab free pizza,” cholesterol levels and heart […]
As commenters pointed out in the previous post, another August has seen Koronet’s up its jumbo slice price by $0.25. Judging from last year’s chart, it appears Koronet’s is continuing the $0.25/year trend through these economic times. Then again, as one commenter put it last year, “i’m usually so drunk when i eat koronets that […]
Your last chance to have a class council foot your pizza bill begins in an hour. In celebration of the CC exam being finished, CCSC 2011 is hosting the final study break of the semester in the McBain lounge at 5 p.m. That means free pizza. Free soda will also be provided. Consolation for your […]
Besides the free popcorn at Postcrypt tonight, there’s one other free food opportunity on campus today: at 4, SCEG and ROOTed are hosting a town forum in Lerner C555 on the Manhattanville expansion, with free pizza! It may not be restaurant quality, but it is a free meal, and that’s the most important thing. UPDATE […]
The Center for Student Advising is throwing a free pizza party for the Terrible 12s right now until 2 PM on the Lerner Ramps. We doubt anyone is checking IDs to make sure only 12s are grabbing slices, but if anyone looks at you suspiciously, just mumble something convincing-sounding about your 240,000 point SAT.
Bwog correspondent Jon Hill reports some awful Koronet-related news: prices have increased 25 cents, up from the $3/slice price, which lasted about a year. Hill researched some old data and used Microsoft Excel in order to illustrate for you, the concerned citizenry, the historical precedent for this price increase.
Happening right now: CCSC’s Do it in the Dark! Energy Challenge is providing free pizzas in the Carman lounge. Though the pies are technically reserved for residents of Woodbridge, Carman and Hartley—the winners of the energy conservation challenge—President Diamond informs Bwog that CCSC will “not turn anyone who’s hungry away.” Diamond also boasts of “those […]
Tipster Jason Patinkin writes to us with two tips. The latter is a complete schedule of Earth Week, which begins today. The week of activities includes tons of free food, tours of environmentally-friendly buildings, and a ton of lectures. Check out the full schedule after the jump. Patinkin also direct our attention to what he […]
Columbia College, never one to be outdone by Domino’s Pizza, is going to be throwing a free pizza party too. Only this time, the pizza will not be won over without a fight. In order to receive the cheesy treat, one must participate in a hour and a half long focus group geared toward improving […]
For the next four days, Barnard students (who provide proper documentation identifying themselves as such) will receive a medium 1 topping pizza from the Domino’s on 125th. Take note the hungry and budgeted amongst us: Now might be a good time to start dining with Barnard friends. Or making Barnard friends.
Bwog went far and wide this fall break. From Paris to New Jersey to Bear Mountain to Brooklyn… well it was only four days, but Bwog made the most of it. Five weeks ago, you were taking your first midterm examinations; I was shopping for classes. This Monday and Tuesday, you were taking a break; […]
Carly Hoogendyk’s alert on the kill: A Peer Major Advising event going on in C555 means an almost certain excess of pizza and soda. Grab it there (no one would care) or wait for the many boxes that’ll end up in the lobby of Lerner.
With the West End shut for renovations and Butler closing at six on the weekends, Bwog has lately resigned itself to Saturday nights sitting on the Steps with the high schoolers who have taken over campus. Fed up, last Saturday the Bwog team embarked on a midnight scavenger hunt across Manhattan, a five-hour chase that […]
Pizza and fruit in 1512 IAB, from the friendly folks at SIPA, who have this edifying public service announcement. Hurry, there might be some left!
