This year’s dorm themes make Bwog want to live in all of the dorms at once! East Campus’ Diverse and Tolerant!: Most Cuddly Continued after the jump!
Bollinger sighting! An anonymous tipster reports: “Last night a few friends and I were walking on 116th near the Wein courtyard carrying seven handles of bad vodka and four cases of beer for a party in EC when we passed President Bollinger. The plastic bags did little to hide the illicit content. As he walked […]

Today the Bwog brings you its first installment of the much-requested S & M Photo of the Day. If you have an S & M photo that you’d like to share with bwog, please (please?) email bwgossip@columbia.edu
Two Furnald freshpeople reported that a swanky Maybach towncar (read: expensive) pulled over on College Walk to deliver a suited individual. They were unable to identify the supposedly important person, but caught these photographic gems on their camera phones.
Bwog was going to do QuickEye, and cheaply summarize Spectator’s new weekly magazine for our readers, but their website isn’t up yet. (We weren’t ignoring you!) You can find the pdf here. If we could link, we’d say: Rich kids can afford unpaid internships! White kids can join all these amazing cliques! Osama bin Laden […]
Taya Mueller of CUArts reports: There’s a boatload of two-topping pizzas and soda getting ready to dock in the Piano Lounge at Lerner from 4-5 PM during the CUArts Havel focus group—come and get it. 4:30 PM is your best bet. xo, CUArts
We’re all gaffeurs, but our gaffes aren’t half as interesting as those of our distinguished faculty (and staff). The Bwog presents to you this week’s finest moments: A staff member walking out of the Hartley Customer Service Center, to another: “I’ve got a baseball bat back in my office, if you’re gonna need it.” […]
After days of fiery backlash to Facebook’s Big Brother-esque changes, Mark Zuckerberg has caved into popular demand and reversed many of the new features. Or, almost. Straight from the source: “Alright, so I read that there was some weirdo leaving nazi crackers on campus. Well, I dunno if this was a copycat or […]
Apparently, Columbia has a Masters program in Real Estate, and the entire class took up some serious real estate on the steps a few minutes ago for a group picture, prompting grumbles from loungers who were asked to relocate. Bwog overheard that at least part of the mob was headed to CBGB after the photo […]
Bwog’s a bit facebooked out this week, but we did get a hot tip about Zuckerberg’s response to anti-Facebook Facebook groups, hostile “status” messages (“so-and-so is busy hating Facebook,”) and campaigns like Bwog’s to quit the system. Zuckerberg reassures, “Calm down. Breathe. We hear you,” and defends mini-feed project manager, Ruchi, who is apparently “not […]

Helfand’s Index By David J. Helfand The June Harper’s Index, that essential compendium of facts masquerading as social commentary, cited the […]
