On the first day of finals week, following an increase in COVID-19 positivity rates and Barnard’s return to grab-and-go dining, CC and SEAS have strongly recommended that professors move all finals to an online format. In an email to Columbia College and General Studies students today, Dean Valentini announced an extension to Pass/D/Fail and class withdrawal deadlines for Fall 2021 courses. 

In an announcement Monday morning, the commissioner of New York City’s health department announced that all New Yorkers 18 and over would be eligible to receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
