Robert Goldberg has a lot to say—even when he isn’t asked much. His answers to questions regarding Barnard and its future dominated last night, as captured by Barnard Bearoness Raji Ganapathy. As every Tuesday, Bwog is back with your (mostly) weekly coverage of ESC. Bureau Chief Finn Klauber watched and listened patiently—very, very patiently—as ESC discussed roughly half of the amendments to its constitution, tabling the conclusion until next week. This past week, a few lucky Bwoggers got the chance to experience the glorious Diana Center rooftop and look over PrezBo’s Manhattanville. We were also lucky enough to catch a bird’s eye glimpse of the Barnard campus now that it’s under full construction. We figured it would probably still have the beloved walkway that connected Milbank and […]

Last Saturday, the Columbia Space Initiative (CSI) successfully sent Roaree, a smaller, cuter incarnation of Columbia’s mascot, to near-space. Roaree traveled in style: in a high-altitude balloon that was able to reach 108000 ft after just two hours of flight. The balloon was launched from Prattsville, NY at 4pm, then land safely near Poughkeepsie later that afternoon. In addition to […]
