Rainy Sunday mornings are for cozy hideaways and delectable pastries!

Sometimes merely describing a muffin like any other food item is insufficient. Sometimes a muffin cannot be characterized just by its orange-and-cranberry exterior. Sometimes a muffin is simply “sassy.”

In today’s Butler Café poetry, Bwog isn’t sure whether Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana wrote this description. In any case, the cheesecake brownie isn’t too shy about its double identity. 

Today Bwog ventured into the Butler Cafe and stumbled upon this marvelous muffin. Brown and beautiful, domed and doubtful, it drew us closer. Marked as “bran-tastic” we even felt an urge to try it. But then we saw a Red Bull and drank that instead.

In today’s analysis of Butler pastries, we have the carrot loaf cake. Is it just Bwog, or is “mmm….carrot-y” the most passive-aggressive description of a pastry ever? At least there are no doubts that this loaf cake is rooted in vegetables.

Since midterms are super fun and don’t keep us up at weird hours, Bwog figured we’d share some of the interesting pastry descriptions in the Butler Café. Today’s pastry is a Banana Loaf Cake, “made with love just like Grandma’s.”
