Now that the final stage is over and most have finally caught their breath, Bwog brings you a recap of just what the hell happened in this year’s 1/2/3 housing lottery.

Next up in our Barnard housing lineup is 116—the middle child of the 600s. Not considered as responsible as 600, but also not as adorable and exonerable (word?) as 620. Here we go!

It was the best of times for some groups, and it was the worst of times for some unlucky sophomores. Betsy “Finally Graduating From This Shit” Ladyzhets and Sarah “I have to do this two more times?!” Braner bring you the results.

Generally considered to be among the best of Barnard’s dorms, 620 is highly desired among seniors and juniors with great lottery numbers. On the upper floors, there are massive windows, lots of singles, and great views. Just watch out for the hill and dangerous proximity to Shake Shack. 

Today marks the Mary-Berry-Jason-Terry-very last day of housing selection. 

Just steps away from Shake Shack (not sure if that’s a pro or con), 600 W 116th Street is a conveniently located, suite-style dorm. Now that 6-person Barnard groups have gotten their numbers, upperclassmen– read on if you’re not feeling so confident; rising sophomores, read on if you’re feeling lucky.

It’s crunch time, and the selection for juniors is getting more and more limited.

The last housing review of the day is the cozy, semi-elusive residential brownstone at 548 W 113th, AKA Symposium because of its proximity to the Greek restaurant. Close to campus but with enough distance to feel a little more ~mature~, Symposium is perfect for any upperclassmen duos with a good lottery number.

Bwog’s first housing review of the day is a perennial sophomore favorite and junior “ok, I guess” – 600 W. 113th St, or The Building Formerly Known As Nussbaum. Although, now that the titular restaurant is re-opening and re-branding, maybe we should call it…Wu? 

On the third day of housing selection, my true love gave to me, five bags of Haribo gummy bears from the Housing concessions table.
